We need to learn how to slow down just a little bit and let stress fly out of our lives like a helium balloon with a broken string. but we need to pay attention to our food, breathe deeply, go outside, talk to you friends, be with your family,and learn to ENJOY eating again!
What better way could there be to lose weight, become slim, fell healthy, reclaim our energy, abd get back in touch with the earth that produces our food? Eating and living has nothing to do with deprivation or even willpower. Life should be pure pleasure.
Take time to cook,with real food, for family and friends, to sit down with them for meals and laugh, talk,and eat with relish and passion. Living in contact with the earth, your food,and the people you love will help to coax your best self forward until you fell like , you have found your real self!
AS you can tell, I may have seen the movie Eat Pray an Love, also am thinking of my garden, for this year. Can't wait to get my hands in the dirt and feel the sun on my back! Real food,not the stuff they try to push in the big box store's,off the racks. Freed from empty calories, empty diet promises, impossible standards, and a "say no to food" mentality. That's not what i want!!
Flavor,variety, abundance,and the secret of healthy eating. Living and being,to live long and thin for the first time in my life,its time " NOW" for a new way! Thanks Ralph! That's the same thing I've been thinking too. We should all try to avoid pre-packaged food as much as possible. I'm real about it; I still have Mac N Cheese and fish sticks in my kitchen. But I try not to eat it too much. My big focus this month is eating fruits and veggies and trying to find ways to include MUFAS into my daily diet, without breaking the PointsPlus bank. It'll be nice when we can see our own veggies growing! Hurry up Spring!
