Reflections on "Sliding Down the Bannister"

Laura is so good at saying what most of us have been feeling. The new year brings thoughts of determination and hope, but as the weeks and stairs mount we get tired. Sliding down the bannister looks better and better. The key is to pace ourselves up the stairs. I promise you that there are better things waiting for us at the top of the stairs (goal weight) than at the bottom! Remember to find ways to enjoy the journey on the way up!

This leads me to the Zumba class on Saturday, February 19 @ 11a.m. at Body ReNew next door to our meeting room. For $8 we can have a good time, great laughs, and move our booties! It's a class just for us! Come have some fun!

Missed you all on Tuesday, but I'm feeling better and rarin to go!

  1. Thanks Kris! I'm glad you're feeling better. There's a lot of sickness going around right now. I actually didn't have much repercussions at the scale this week, so I'm kind of worried it'll show up this week. And I was sick Wed and Thu, so now that I feel like eating again, I want to eat EVERYTHING, and feel like I can because I didn't really eat for 2 days. But, man, those points add up fast! I used 14 just on my breakfast this morning, and still wanted more. It's definitely something to try to pace ourselves on and learn how to do it the right way. Thanks for all your help!!!
